About Public Administration Concentration
Students build upon the foundational skills attained through their associate degree programs by completing upper-division coursework in management and leadership along with concentration courses in public administration practices. Upper-level coursework in the BAS program of Public Administration provides students with the opportunity to develop a theoretical and practical understanding of how public resources are utilized effectively within a changing environment. Areas of emphasis include foundations of public administration, public relations, public policies and regulations, human resources and labor relations, and public finance.
